Work - Related Injuries

Injuries that occur on the job – the type covered by workers' compensation – are most commonly accidents, but may also involve improper ergonomics that lead to sprains and strains and repetitive stress disorders.

Work-related injuries are often a result of overexertion and repetitive stress; leading to chronic pain.

Overexertion when lifting or lowering items can strain muscles and cause neck and/or back pain, and any type of repetitive movements carried out over a long period of time can inflame and damage the soft tissue in the affected body part – most commonly the wrists, hands, knees, hips, and shoulders – leading to chronic pain.
